Jan - March 2011
On December 5, 2006, a group of Antelope Valley Birder/Environmentalists came together to start an Antelope Valley Audubon Society Regional Committee. California's second Audubon Society Chapter, the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society (SFVAS) has generously provided us their support and encouragement with both leadership and funding. While our long range goal is to become an independent Chapter, we are currently focused on developing a committed core group of active committee members.
Our Quarterly General meetings are held in March, June, September and December, first Tuesday of the designated months listed above at 6:30 PM, Prime Desert Woodland Preserve, located at 43201 35th Street West, Lancaster, CA.
Our programs focus on local birding, environmental issues and conservation efforts in and around the Antelope Valley (AV).
All general meetings and field trips are open to the public and we encourage your participation.
